Light Breeze

Dear Readers,

Peace feels like a light breeze on a crisp, September day. The leaves lightly blowing in the wind.

The smell of an apple cider cinnamon candle. The leaves beginning to turn orange and red, like a sunset on the trees. The birds chirping quietly.

Like the breeze, peace isn’t something we can see, but rather something we can feel.

It feels slow and steady.

It feels like an exhale.

It feels calm and at ease.

Elements of the environment can cause a bit more sense of urgency or destruction. The wind blows a bit faster. Woodpeckers may tarnish the branches. Snakes may slither and scare animals away that would otherwise benefit the tree and vice versa.

For humans, some disruptive forces can be avoided. Gravitate towards the people and places that give you more ease. That make the breeze feel a bit lighter and softer in rhythm.

Unlike trees that are planted where they are and stay put, we have the power to change our environment.

We can change where we go, and also how we show up in our environment.

Wherever you go and wherever you are, find ways to seek peace and protect it.

Love,

Samantha
