Mysterious Angles
Dear Readers,
In an art class I am taking, we cut paper into different shapes to match a picture of a corner for an activity related to structure and angles.
As I was placing the cut pieces on paper and looking at the angles, my professor mentioned that some of the angles didn’t quite match the picture I was looking at.
It was as if the way I thought it should look didn’t match the actual picture.
Sometimes, we don’t see what is right in front of us.
Our preconceived notions, biases, curiosity, and imagination can blind us from reality.
The mind can override the eyes.
Sometimes, we simply need to look and observe what lies before us before we dig deeper.
We may search for answers, look for clues, try to understand.
But sometimes all we have to do is look and observe. We often have a way of missing what’s right before our eyes.
What may seem ambiguous becomes more clear when we see reality for what it is.
Love,
Samantha
